Strategy
Align technology and AI initiatives with real business outcomes.
Systems. Insights. Impact.
I started Sysinco in 2004 as the home for my independent work in product development, enterprise and operational technology, process improvement and practical business problems.
Today I focus mainly on artificial intelligence, learning and reasoning, and on what more capable technology means for people and organizations.
What I focus on
Align technology and AI initiatives with real business outcomes.
Design practical architectures that are secure, scalable and human-centred.
Help teams work with clarity, sound judgment and the right environment to excel.
Turn complexity into understanding and better decisions.
Why I do this
Use technology to do something genuinely useful for people and communities, and build it in a way that can sustain itself.
The work may involve a product, an operation, artificial intelligence or a learning framework. I return to the same question each time: will it make people, organizations or communities more capable?
A point of view
AI already does work that once required considerable human time, knowledge and effort. Our role is shifting toward setting the objective, judging the result, challenging assumptions and keeping the work grounded in reality.
Use AI to elevate your capability, not replace the need to develop it.
Current work
These projects differ, but they share one question: where can technology make a useful difference?
Learning with AI
A learning framework and product that helps people learn with AI without mistaking the machine's output for their own understanding.
Explore Curiosity ProjectReasoning systems
Separate work exploring evidence-governed AI reasoning over changing entities, conditions, and decisions.

Start a conversationSpeaking
I speak with organizations and communities about AI, learning, human capability, disciplined curiosity, and what being the human in the loop now requires.
I avoid fear-based talks and easy answers. I try to help people understand what is changing and decide how they want to respond.
